Top tip: Don't do it. There are way too many photographers. Try to draw or get politically involved in something that matters. And unless you need to make art to stay alive, you shouldn't be making art.

a great poet, a really great poet, is the most unpoetical of all creatures. But inferior poets are absolutely fascinating. the worse their rhymes are, the more picturesque they look.... he lives the poetry he cannot write. the others write the poetry they dare not realise.
